Prologue: My Roots
I descend from the line of wise and wealthy nobles, and was called Xyrill Aravis of Thor. As part of tradition, I was bequeathed by ancestors with knowledge so invaluable, men from all over earth would use countless gold and silver-- would kill without spare to acquire it. Originating from the lineage of kings and queens who ruled the kingdom of Thor, I was raised to be the Protector of our fortress, to be both a great warrior and a wise prince gifted in the mental, physical, moral, and social art.
Alas, my spirit was not of a Protector. I was formed with compassion and a love for the people. My purpose was conflicting with my vision. I chose to reject my duty and left my fortress in the dark of night. I journeyed and trained to become a Healer in White Moss, a village in the southern part of Grandia- filled with many creatures carefree and happy even if impoverished. I grew to be fond of White Moss, and I wanted to stay there for the rest of my life.
Later, a traveler came to take me away and brought me to the palace of Grandia, saying that I've been chosen to be one of the three sages who would rule the kingdom of Grandia. I fought him at first, in disagreement. He told me, however, that Grandian sages have the ability to communicate with and command one of the four elements of nature. Prior to that I knew of my special gift of manipulating fire. We journeyed three weeks and faced a lot of conflicts before finally arriving at our destination.
It was then that I started to learn my purpose. After four years of studying to become a sage, I was finally crowned one of the three foundations of Grandia.

Don't you just love math?
Sometimes the problems are so hard that it makes you weep, but when you solve it you'll have a sense of accomplishment.
Eventhough I myself, don't really do that well in math these days.
I still appreciate the subjetc all the same.
PS. It's the teacher that I like best :P

In James 4:13-17, the author stresses about bragging for our future. The start of the verse was a paradigm for dreamers, like us. God allowed us to dream for our future. In fact, He created it for us to withstand any obstacles that will hinder our way. However, who are we to announce our future? We may be formed in His image, but we are not God Himself. As Hiro Nakamura of Heroes have said, “We are gifted with the powers of God, but we cannot play God,”
We may say or think such things, but we must never forget the Lord’s presence. The path we will walk on to is His job, not us.
